I love nature, especially the ocean. I try to keep the content here positive, but if the subject is very important I'll sometimes reblog text that may be stressful or sad in nature. I will not, however, reblog any images that I consider to be traumatic. Overall, this will probably be 95% or more reblogs of visual content which I consider to be fun, whimsical, beautiful, or cathartic. Expect a fair amount of boobs.
My partner's (new) tumblr of fun things that she likes is here. ❤

Magnificent Wave Pier Loops Into the Ocean
Looping vertically into the ocean like a 360 degree stunt ramp, the Wave Pier by Mesh Architects provides the people of St. Petersburg, Florida an extraordinary new way to enjoy the beach.
Along with providing spectacular views of Tampa Bay and the St. Petersburg skyline, the iconic Wave Pier features a pavilion and exhibition hall that can host indoor events and performances. On the exterior, the curve of the structure can host outdoor concerts on warmer months, and also dives into the waters below, creating an artificial second beach out to sea.
Mesh Architects is a collaborative all-star team made up of Bjarke Ingles Group, Martha Schwarz Partners, Thornton Thomasetti, Parsons Brinchkerhoff, HR&A and CC&A. The Wave Pier was their entry for St. Peterburg’s design competition to create a new culture center for the city.
More reason to visit west FLA this winter.
